Wonderful vacation
We spent two very nice weeks at the Marxenhof. The farm is a place to relax and the farm shop is great. Here you can get everything that is grown on the organic farm. The holiday apartment is very well maintained and furnished to a high standard. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. There is nothing that doesn't exist. Ms. Klemm is a very nice and helpful host. The great thing is that you can reach the old town of Brixen in 10 minutes on foot. There is a lot to experience, whether you want to hike through the vineyards, to the alpine pastures or even higher. The cultural offerings are also not neglected. We felt very comfortable here and will definitely come back. 😊

We have been guests at the Marxenhof for almost 15 years.
Until now as a base for ski holidays. Local mountains Plose are great for driving in, Kronplatz or Val Gardena for tours can be reached quickly.
But the farm is also a good base for wonderful hikes.
Brixen center can be reached in 10 minutes on foot.
Fam Klemm is helpful and gives good tips for excursions.
There are power places on the farm and a lot of home-produced food is sold. Always worth a trip.read more

MARXENHOF is a magical farm… it is very clean and well organized. The family is amazing… so warm, generous and welcoming. I especially loved the new farm store.
The location is perfect - a short walk to Brixen’s historic center. I enjoyed a car-free stay and easily explored nearby towns and sites.read more

A really great vacation spot for our family with three small children. The pure farm idyll with chickens, donkeys, guinea pigs, ducks and cats. A paradise for children who can simply 'do' and explore. Everything is very warm and familiar. The holiday apartments have a high standard and the farm's own products are of the best Demeter organic quality.
Adults can also find relaxation in the garden. A highlight was eating pizza together with the family and other guests.
From the balconies you have a fantastic view of Brixen. The old town can be reached on foot in 10 minutes and with the Brixencard you can go to the Plose or the great swimming pool for free every day.
We'll definitely be back!

The Marxenhof is located just outside and above Brixen, in the middle of the apple trees from which a wonderful juice is extracted.
The old town of Brixen is within walking distance, we didn't move the car during our stay. All public transport is also easily accessible on foot and can be used free of charge by guests of the farm, as can the cable car to the Plose or entry to the swimming pool. The apartments are well equipped. How often do you find a sharp kitchen knife or sensible pots and pans in vacation homes? Here it is. The mattresses are very comfortable and not saggy. From the balcony you have a wonderful view over Brixen, the Plose and the mountains.
We didn't find the lack of a TV or W-LAN disturbing, on the contrary. Instead, we enjoyed the quiet and the large lounge with plenty of toys and board games.
Outside there are children's toys, a playground and plenty of opportunities for the grown-ups to relax.

The Marxenhof is in a fantastically beautiful, sunny and quiet location. The old town can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes. (We didn't use the car during the whole stay). The large garden offers many cozy places to relax and feel good. There are countless opportunities for children to play and animals to pet. Our apartment was tastefully and comfortably furnished and very clean. The farm's own products (eggs, jam, home-baked rolls, apple juice and much more) are a very special treat. We were warmly welcomed by our host and spent a wonderful week at the Marxenhof. Unfortunately the time went by far too quickly, so we will definitely come back.read more

Definitely recommended for anyone who likes to take it easy. As described, no WiFi or TV but there is always something to see and observe. Rabbits, ducks, chickens, ponies and co. run wildly through the spacious garden. The journey is a little tricky but doable for any experienced driver. Apartment generously equipped and habitable without any defects. It's a 5-10 minute walk into the town through beautiful streets. However, the path is very steep and a bit difficult for older people or people who are not so fit.
The lady of the house is a good soul who takes excellent care of each of the guests.read more

A fantastic place 2 steps from the historic center of Bressanone; quiet and no noise except those of nature and animals that breed .. very friendly and kind owners, discreet and always available to our every request .. well furnished and comfortable rooms .. really a fantastic place to relax. .read more
