Your skiing holiday in Bressanone will be a fabulous experience thanks to our ski area. A total of 40 kilometres of slopes awaits you here, so new challenges are ready for you every day. Your children are in good hands in the Kinderland while you may discover the different slopes. Located at an altitude of 2,500 meters, you may enjoy a breath-taking view of the mountains with the Ortles Group. In the Double FunPark Plose, freestylers and snowboarders may romp and play freely. A choice of 12 different restaurants ensures great culinary variety. The varied offer leaves nothing to be desired. The journey from the farm Marxenhof to the ski area is particularly hassle-free with the BrixenCard. The free ski bus takes you to the ski lifts in just 25 minutes. The bus stop is 500 meters from the farm. A total of eight other ski areas can be reached from the farm Marxenhof within an hour’s drive. The central location of the farm Marxenhof allows you to take part in the fun après-ski parties in the ski areas and in the city centre of Bressanone.

Toboggan runs and cross-country trails
Close to Bressanone and the ski area Mount Plose, four cross-country trails with a total length of almost 24 kilometres await you. The trail Plancios – Passo delle Erbe leads through deep snow-covered forests over a length of eight kilometres. The circular trail Val Croce is five kilometres long. During your winter holiday on Mount Plose you have the chance to discover different toboggan runs. The longest run in South Tyrol is called RudiRun. It is divided into two sections – RudiRun 1 and RudiRun 2 – which have a length of 5 and 10 kilometres respectively. This toboggan run is one of 12 facilities, and they all guarantee great fun and top sporting experiences.

The snow glistens in the sun and the untouched snow fields invite you to a varied snowshoe hike or ski tour. Guided excursions are offered on Mount Plose several times a week. The meeting point is usually the ski school at the mountain station of the cable car in Val Croce. If there is plenty of snow, the tours take place until April. If you prefer to enjoy the wonderful winter landscape on cleared hiking trails, you will find a variety of trails on Mount Plose that are regularly cleared of snow.

The traditional “South Tyrolean Christmas Markets” are part of a perfect Christmas experience. The towns and villages are festively decorated with great attention to detail. As soon as darkness falls and the lights are turned on, you will experience a wonderful ambiance. The “Standl” – as they are called in South Tyrol – will tempt you with products from traditional handicrafts, fine specialties, and hot drinks. From the farm Marxenhof you may walk to the Christmas Market in Bressanone in just a few minutes. Other Christmas markets such as the “Sarner Christmas Market” or the “Sterzing Christmas Market” can be reached comfortably and free of charge by public transport or by car.
